Environmental Stewardship and Mitigation Sites Location Map (24 MB)
The 18-mile ICC begins from the west at I-270/I-370 in Montgomery County, MD and ends at US 1 in Prince George's County, MD. The ICC is a limited access toll facility and there are 8 full interchanges, 1 partial interchange (entrance only), and 1 intersection. Each of these connections with existing roads are indicated with the circles on the above graphic.
In Contract A there are full interchanges of the ICC (MD 200) at MD 355, Shady Grove Metro Station, and Georgia Avenue (MD 97)
In Contract B there are full interchanges of the ICC (MD 200) at Layhill Road (MD 182) and New Hampshire Avenue (MD 650).
In Contract C there are full interchanges of the ICC (MD 200) at US 29 and I-95 and a partial interchange (for traffic headed westbound) at Briggs Chaney Road.
Contract D includes collector distributor lanes (similar to the Local Lanes on I-270) on both the northbound and southbound sections of I-95 to connect it to the ICC. - DEFERRED
Finally, in Contract E, there is an interchange at Van Dusen Road and the final intersection with US 1.
